The Georgie Awards, presented by the Canadian Homebuilder’s Association of BC (CHBA BC), recognize excellence in homebuilding, renovations, and real estate in British Columbia. This year’s awards included nearly 50 categories, encompassing various aspects of the industry, such as residential construction, renovation, interior design, merchandising, landscaping, sales, marketing, and special achievements.
Neil Moody, CEO of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of British Columbia, emphasizes the significance of winning a Georgie Award. It signifies a company’s dedication to excellence in homebuilding, encompassing quality, durability, the latest building techniques, and design trends. Being named a finalist alone is a tremendous achievement, showcasing the exceptional work and commitment of the nominees. In a year where the residential construction industry has experienced changes and challenges due to factors like higher interest rates, it becomes all the more crucial for industry professionals to come together, celebrate their accomplishments, and embrace the future with optimism and determination.
Each year, there is a unique theme for the awards, which attendees highly anticipate. For the 31st year of the Georgie Awards, the theme was inspired by the Wizard of Oz. Guests were transported down the yellow brick road to a magical world, “Emerald City.” We loved it!
We are incredibly grateful to have reached the finalist round in four categories. This acknowledgment highlights our ongoing dedication to delivering exceptional homes and renovations. It’s an honour we cherish deeply and serves as a reminder of the hard work and dedication our team has put in.
