Values:

At RDC Fine Homes we respect our staff and provide quality and value to our clients.

RDC Fine Homes Inc.

As the 2008 Built Green Builder of the year, RDC Fine Homes Inc. is growing a reputation as one of BC’s top builders focusing on innovative, sustainable design. Based in Whistler, the company’s primary focus is on building homes in the Sea to Sky corridor, while setting the bar high in green building techniques for the rest of Canada. RDC is the 1st builder in BC to complete a Net Zero energy home and Rammed Earth home.

RDC is pleased to showcase their Rammed Earth and Net Zero homes and explore lessons learned with a goal to move the whole building industry forward towards healthier communities and more sustainable homes.

As a team, RDC believes strongly in creating sustainable, healthy communities by designing and building sustainable and healthy homes. They acknowledge the impact that building and renovating a home has on the environment and work hard to offset these impacts through innovation, education and constant improvement in their processes, practices and products. Building sustainable luxury homes does not necessarily add to the cost but does add to the investment, by future proofing homes with materials and building techniques that could very well become mandated and mainstream in the future. Sustainable luxury can also add to the beauty of the home – adding aesthetic touches that add style as well as value.

RDC Fine Homes focuses on clients that want to build healthy, sustainable and well designed homes. Since first being launched as a business in 1993, RDC Fine Homes completed its first Built Green home in 2006 and is participating in the pilot stage for the new built green renovation standard.

Owner Bob Deeks is also committed to creating a company that “walks the talk”. RDC Fine Homes has set its own sustainability goals with a vision to constantly innovate when it comes to developing green building technology.

On top of his day job, Bob is President of The Canadian Home Builders Association of BC, a Board member of the Built Green Society and Chair of the Built Green Renovation standard committee as well as being the winner of a number of Georgies and finalist in the National SAM awards for past projects.
